Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to provide high-quality in-home support to clients in a safe, respectful, and professional manner. In this role, you will help promote comfort, independence, and well-being by assisting with daily living activities and offering attentive personal care.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as appropriate.
Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation using proper techniques and equipment when needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining a respectful and caring environment.
Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other routine household tasks.
Monitor client well-being and report changes in condition, concerns, or observations to the appropriate supervisor or care team.
Assist with medication reminders in accordance with care plans and organizational guidelines, when permitted.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and follow established service plans.
Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Relevant certification or training in home care, personal care, or related support services preferred.
Prior experience providing care in a home or community setting is an asset.
Ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally with clients and team members.
Strong reliability, time management, and attention to detail.
Ability to follow care instructions and maintain client confidentiality.
Physical ability to perform duties that may include standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with transfers.
