HI-LO & Slitter Operations
* Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area. Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
* Checking work orders, properly select processed material checking for weight, alloy, size, and quality.
* Operate forklift to bring material to the production floor or shipping department.
* Follow packaging instructions.
* Operate simple hand tools and machines (automatic bander, core cutting machine, shrink wrapper, nail gun, circular saw)
* Properly identify all slit material and complete all documentation.
* Group completed coils together by work order in designated area.
* Maintain the work area cleanly and neatly.
* Opportunity for advancement into production.
* Prepare metal coils by trimming coils to fit widths specified by customers. Operator conducts a final check of coil specifications.
* Properly identify all edged material by alloy, size, melt, weight, edge, and complete all documentation.
