Tactical Armed Security OfficerGardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Armed Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Tactical Armed Security Guard? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.What's in it for you:Site Location: Long Beach, CASchedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday, Day Shift / 6:00am - 3:30pmCompetitive hourly wage of $42 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance optionsCareer growth opportunities at GardaWorldUniform provided at no costResponsibilities of Tactical Armed Security Guard:Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activityVerify identities and control access to secure areasReact quickly to threats or incidentsCheck the proper functioning of alarms and camerasDocument incidents and actions takenRespond to alarms and conduct on-site checksCollaborate with law enforcement during serious incidentsEnsure the safety and protection of individuals and propertyQualifications of Tactical Armed Security Guard:Be authorized to work in the U.S.Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GEDYou are at least 21 years of ageFirst aid certification is an assetMust have a valid driver's licenseIf you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!You have CPR certificationYou have at least 2 years experience as an Armed OfficerYou have a state issued armed security license and meet any additional requirements to carry a firearm as a security officer in your state.Must have law enforcement experienceMust have a CCWYou have a CA security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr.
