Job description
High Reach OperatorThis role involves operating a stand-up high reach forklift to pick and move orders in a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse. You will spend most of your time on a stand-up Crown forklift, working efficiently to meet order quotas while occasionally performing manual tasks off the lift. Availability to train on a day shift schedule (approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) for the initial training period.Responsibilities:Operate a stand-up high reach forklift safely and efficiently to pick and move orders throughout the warehouse.Use primarily Crown stand-up forklifts to complete daily tasks, following all equipment and safety procedures.Pick orders accurately and at a pace that consistently meets or exceeds established supervisor quotas.Work off the forklift as needed to perform manual order picking, loading, unloading, and related warehouse tasks.Essential Skills:6 months to 1 year of stand-up forklift experience as a minimum qualification.Proven ability to operate a stand-up high reach forklift safely and confidently.Experience with order picking in a warehouse or distribution environment.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
