Job description
Role: Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities:
Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Participates in activities enhancing patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with professional development.
Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:
RN licensure required; Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, with preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred for advanced roles.
Telemetry/Cardiac experience is preferred.
