Job description
This RN position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, supporting patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety and quality initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within nursing standards.
Developing and documenting individualized plans of care collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting professional development.
Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role.
