Job description
Support students' growth and communication skills in a collaborative educational environment on a contract assignment near Denver, CO. This role provides the chance to work with elementary, middle, and high school-aged students, making a meaningful impact at pivotal stages in their academic journeys. Working alongside educators and fellow professionals, you'll develop individualized treatment plans and help foster a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
Certification relevant to providing school-based SLP services
Experience or strong interest working with elementary, middle, and high school students
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to develop effective treatment plans and adapt to a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities: Assess students' speech, language, and communication challenges
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and small group settings
Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
Monitor, evaluate, and document student development and adjust interventions as needed
Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
