Interventionist (Reading Specialist)
This position is for a High School Interventionist (Reading Specialist) for the School Year from September 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027. Qualifications/Responsibilities: Valid teaching certification (secondary level required; reading specialist certification and/or Orton-Gillingham preferred) Coordinates the collection and analysis of student data Provides targeted academic support to struggling high school students Delivers Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions within an MTSS framework Collaborates with general education teachers to close achievement gaps and improve student outcomes. Monitors grade-level proficiency and graduation readiness. Supports students performing below grade level in reading, writing, mathematics, and academic language Salary: REA Salary Guide Range BA: Step 1 $63,000- MA+30 Step 21 $106,295 Application Procedure: Apply Online; Include Letter of Interest, Resume, References and a Copy of required Certification(s) Selection Procedure: Qualified applicants will be contacted for any interview if credentials meet District standards/criteria.
