Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with a focus on Special Education
Licensure appropriate for service in California
Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students in a special education setting
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student learning needs
Familiarity with IEP development and implementation preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs
Utilize differentiated instruction strategies to support diverse learners
Conduct assessments and monitor progress, making data-driven instructional decisions
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professionally to student support teams
