Job description
We are seeking an experienced HIL Test Lead to lead Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and validation activities for automotive embedded systems. The role involves test strategy development, test execution, team coordination, issue resolution, and collaboration with software, systems, and hardware engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead HIL test planning, strategy, execution, and reporting.
Develop and review test cases, test scenarios, and automated test scripts.
Configure and maintain HIL test benches and simulation environments.
Perform ECU validation using tools such as dSPACE, CANoe/CANalyzer, MATLAB/Simulink , and related HIL platforms.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
Coordinate with Software, Systems, Hardware, and Validation teams to resolve defects.
Support CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, and other automotive communication testing.
Track defects and testing progress using tools such as Jira and ALM systems.
Mentor HIL test engineers and provide technical guidance.
Ensure compliance with automotive development and testing processes such as ASPICE and functional safety practices.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in HIL testing/automotive embedded validation .
Strong experience with dSPACE HIL, MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe/CANalyzer .
Experience with ECU testing, diagnostics, and automotive communication protocols.
Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience leading or mentoring a validation/testing team.
Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262 , and automotive software development processes is preferred.
