Make a Difference Every DayAt Senior Helpers of West Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties, we're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes.If you're someone who shows up on time, treats others with kindness and respect, and takes pride in making someone's day a little brighter, we'd love to meet you. Whether you're an experienced caregiver or just starting your career, we'll provide the training, support, and encouragement you need to succeed.What You'll DoAs a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you'll provide personalized care that helps our clients maintain their independence. Responsibilities may include:Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygieneHelping with mobility, transfers, and fall preventionProviding companionship and meaningful conversationPreparing meals and assisting with feeding when neededPerforming light housekeeping and laundryOffering medication remindersObserving and reporting changes in a client's conditionAccurately documenting care providedCommunicating with clients, families, and our office teamAccompanying clients to appointments or running errands as neededWhat We're Looking ForMust be at least 18 years oldCompassionate, patient, and dependableExcellent attendance and punctualityReliable transportation (valid driver's license preferred)Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screeningCaregiving experience is preferred but not required—we'll train the right personExperience with Dementia or Parkinson's care is a plusWhy You'll Love Working HereWe believe great caregivers deserve a great place to work.
