Job description
Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Norfolk, VA, 23502
Term: Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 12 hour (6:30pm-7am)
Start: ASAP
Requirements:
State RRT license.
BLS/CPR required.
Must be COVID Vaccinated
Min 1 -2 year of RRT experience required.
Responsibilities:
Interview and examine patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
Consult with physicians about patients' conditions and developing treatment plans.
Treat patients using a variety of methods.
Documenting care by updating charts and records
Operating mechanical ventilators and other machines
Training patients how to administer treatments and use equipment on their own
Recommending equipment and treatment for outpatient or home health
