Job Title:
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Location:
Glen Allen, Virginia
Job Type:
Full-Time / Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Virginia regulations.
Provide preventive care, wellness exams, immunizations, and health screenings.
Educate patients and families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and treatment plans.
Manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hyperlipidemia.
Perform routine office procedures within scope of practice.
Refer patients to specialists and coordinate follow-up care as needed.
Document patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
DEA preferred
Family Practice experience required min.2 years
Must be comfortable seeing ages 2+

If more than 50 miles away lodging + mileage can be reimbursed.
Schedule:
Mon/Wed/Thur/Fri : 8am-5pm
Tues : 9am-7pm
Lunch 12p-1p
