Preferred Care at Home of Northeast OrlandoPreferred Care at Home of Northeast Orlando is looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team. Our caregivers provide personalized, non-medical care that helps seniors and individuals maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clientsAssist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:Bathing and personal hygieneDressing and groomingToileting and incontinence careMobility, walking, and transfersFeeding and meal assistanceAssist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe, clean environmentPrepare meals and assist with grocery shopping or errands as neededProvide medication reminders as directed by the care planAccompany clients to appointments, activities, or outings when neededObserve and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisorFollow the client's care plan and all agency policies and proceduresEncourage independence while providing assistance and supervision when neededProvide respectful, dependable, and individualized care at all timesQualificationsCurrent HHA certification or other applicable caregiver credentialsPrevious caregiving or senior care experience preferredMust be compassionate, patient, reliable, and trustworthyAbility to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care teamAbility to safely assist with mobility and transfers as requiredMust be able to pass required background screening and meet agency hiring requirementsReliable transportation is preferred/required depending on the assignmentMust be willing to work flexible schedules, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, or overnight shifts depending on client needsWhat We Look ForWe are looking for caregivers who genuinely enjoy helping others and understand that great caregiving is about more than completing tasks.
