Industrial Electrician – Skilled Trades OpeningsExpress Employment Professionals is now hiring for two key skilled trades roles—Industrial Electrician Journeyman—with a high-performing industrial facility in the Dearborn area. This company supports complex equipment such as mills, conveyors, silos, dryers, and more for concrete materials packaging. Whether you're a journeyman or seasoned electrical technician, this is a stable, well-paying opportunity with long-term potential and excellent team culture.Electrician schedules: 1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 10:30pm. Electrician schedule note* One role will eventually transition to afternoons after training; applicants can express shift preferences during the interview process.Industrial Electrician (Journeyman): $43.35/hour. Full-time (40+ hours/week).Evaluation-to-Hire with potential for early conversion based on skill, performance, and initiative.This Dearborn-based manufacturer operates a high production environment with three mills, a belt system, conveyors, dryer systems, and silos, requiring hands-on support and quick diagnostics. The company maintains over 125 motors and 1,000 sensors onsite and is committed to minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance, skilled trades leadership, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Install and troubleshoot new and existing equipmentPerform electrical fault tracing from control systems to the equipmentReplace motors, run conduit, and troubleshoot sensor-related failuresSupport Siemens PLC systemsPerform preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical components (up to 480V, 3-phase)Maintain systems supporting mills, conveyors, dryers, silos, and motorsWork with low- to high-voltage systems safely and efficientlyRequirements:5+ years of industrial electrical experience preferredExperience with new equipment installs and Siemens PLCsAbility to trace and repair faults, run conduit, and replace motorsHigh attention to detail in reactive maintenance environmentsWe are hiring now!
