Machine Assembler - 1st ShiftShift: Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.Pay Rate: $25 to $35 /hrLocation: Saint Paul, MNThis role focuses on building custom machines and equipment from start to finish in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. You will assemble complete machines and sub-components, work from detailed engineering documentation, and use a variety of tools and machine shop equipment to deliver high-quality, one-of-a-kind systems. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple disciplines, and a commitment to precision and safety.ResponsibilitiesBuild complete machines and sub-components from start to finish according to engineering specifications.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide assembly work.Assemble, install, and align mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively during assembly and installation.Identify and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues during the build and testing process.Fabricate parts as needed using machine shop equipment such as mills, lathes, and saws.Perform welding tasks as required to support machine assembly and fabrication.Verify that assembled machines meet all specifications and quality standards.Assess and resolve assembly problems in a timely manner, communicating issues and solutions clearly.Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards throughout the build process.Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other assemblers to ensure successful completion of custom projects.Work EnvironmentThe role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing consistent daytime hours. The environment is centered around custom machine building, with access to hand and power tools, mills, lathes, saws, and other machine shop equipment. Safety procedures and quality standards are integral to daily operations, supporting a professional and efficient workplace.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
