About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations in Ashland, VA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
* Pay: $25 per hour
* Overtime: Overtime after 40 hours
* Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
* Hours: 40 hours per week
* Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
* Work Arrangement: On-site
* Home Time: Home daily
Job Details

* Equipment: Day cab with 53-foot van trailer
* Transmission: Automatic
* Freight Handling: No-touch, drop-and-hook

Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
* Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
* Perform required no-touch and drop-and-hook activities.
* Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
* Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations.
* Meet the physical demands of the role.
Minimum Requirements
* Valid CDL A license.
* 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
* Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
* Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
