Job description
School Assistant
Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Pay: 12.85 per hour
Paid health insurance for employee
Reports To: Principal/Assistant Principal
Supervises: Helps supervise students
Job Overview: To assist the school, under the supervision of the principal, with maintaining appropriate classroom activities and environment so students are safe to have the opportunity to succeed academically.
Essential Duties
Hispanic Parent Liaison to assist school personnel in communicating and interacting with our Hispanic parents and students.
Other Duties As Assigned
Terms Of Employment: 10 Month basis. Salary and work calendar to be established by the Board
Physical Requirements: This position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects.
Evaluation: In accordance with Board Policy and appropriate procedural regulations. The Superintendent or designee will be responsible for completing the evaluation.
Salary Range: Based on the EPS Support Negotiated Contract Scale
Benefits: This position includes health insurance for the employee that may be waived for additional salary, if preferred.
