Job description
Position: Histology Technician Location: Long Island, NY
Schedule: Monday Friday, 2nd Shift
Pay: $38.00 $55.00/hour

What you ll be doing: Embedding tissue and preparing slides for H&E and special stains
Performing microtomy and ensuring high-quality sectioning
Monitoring and documenting preventative maintenance
Troubleshooting processing, embedding, cutting, and staining issues
Maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards in a fast-paced lab
What they re looking for: Hands-on experience with microtomy and embedding
At least 1 year of high-complexity lab experience
HT (ASCP) or HTL preferred (not required)
Histotechnology program completion or science degree preferred
State licensure
