Job description
Account ManagerOur client is a well-established specialty insurance brokerage in Cedar Knolls, NJ with a long track record of managing risk and protecting the assets of high-net-worth families and their businesses. With a deeply loyal client base and a team culture built around relationship quality over volume, they are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join their Personal Lines practice. In this role, you will own the day-to-day service relationship for a dedicated book of high-net-worth personal lines clients — serving as the primary contact for coverage questions, renewals, and ongoing service needs. Working closely with the firm's Producers, you will be instrumental in delivering the white-glove client experience this firm is known for.ResponsibilitiesServe as the day-to-day point of contact for a dedicated book of high-net-worth personal lines clients, delivering responsive, high-quality serviceOwn the renewal process end-to-end — from early outreach and applications through carrier negotiations and binding coverageConduct proactive coverage reviews to identify gaps and make recommendations tailored to each client's risk profileHandle client inquiries, policy changes, endorsements, and billing issues with professionalism and urgencyNegotiate with carriers on pricing, terms, and coverage options to achieve the best outcomes for clientsMaintain complete, accurate records in AMS 360 Agency Management SystemQualifications3+ years of experience in personal lines insurance, ideally serving high-net-worth clientsStrong working knowledge of HNW insurance products including yacht, aviation, equine, fine art, jewelry, and umbrella policiesProficiency with AMS 360 Agency Management System (required)Property & Casualty license required (or ability to obtain promptly)Exceptional client service instincts — comfortable managing complex, relationship-driven accountsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyWhy Apply For This Position?This is an opportunity to do meaningful, high-quality work in a niche that rewards expertise and relationship skill over volume.
