Home Care Aide And CompanionCome join Givens Aldersgate At Home! As part of the nonprofit Givens Communities, Givens Aldersgate At Home supports residents within our communities and the surrounding Mecklenburg area so you can truly get to know the people you support. As a Home Care Aide and Companion, you'll have the opportunity to get to know your clients one-on-one, helping them live a healthy, happy, and safe life at home. We're looking for PRN Home Care Aide and Companion's to float roughly 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, with every other weekend required. We have also started offering some 12-hour overnight shifts. This department supports our Givens Aldersgate campus, as well as off campus clients in the greater Charlotte community.Why you'll love this role:Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, overnights available)Consistent location for the entirety of your shiftSupportive team environment1:1 client connectionWhat you'll do:Provide companionship and emotional supportAssist with daily tasks (ADLs & IADLs) like errands, meals, and housekeepingSupport clients with household organization and routinesCommunicate updates to the care teamDocument visits and follow care plansWhat you'll need:Must have an active, unencumbered driver's licenseAbility to assist with mobility and daily tasksCurrent CPR Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain)Experience preferred, but not requiredPRN Perks:Very flexible schedulingShift differentials + holiday payReferral bonusesCompensation is $14.00-$15.00 per hour based on experience, plus shift differentials!Still curious about what Givens is all about?
