Right At Home Caregiver PositionOur Mission: We hire the RIGHT people, for the RIGHT services, with the RIGHT approach. A homemaker/companion provides non-medical home care which includes: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home. We travel to the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis.We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board. The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight). Full Time or Part Time hours not guaranteed due to the nature of our industry.Benefits:Flexibility! These could include (but are not limited to): Assist with Dressing/Grooming Ambulation/Transfers (be able to lift 50 lbs) Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments Performs light housekeeping activities Medication reminders Care of bed-bound clients Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts Provide CompanionshipRequirements:Must be 18 years of ageMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobMust possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insuranceMust have the ability to pass a full employment background checkHCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)TB Skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days)Right at Home is an International non-medical home care agency that provides care to Seniors wherever they call home!
