Job description
Responsive RecruiterWe are seeking a compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support to our clients. You will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship, helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingPrepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferencesPerform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishes, and tidying living spacesProvide companionship and emotional support to clientsAssist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanicsRemind clients to take medications as prescribed (non-medical administration)Escort clients to appointments and run essential errandsMonitor and report changes in client condition to the care coordinatorDocument care activities and observations accurately and promptlyFollow the individualized care plan for each clientRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in caregiving, home care, or related field preferredAbility to pass a criminal background checkValid driver license and reliable transportationCurrent CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationEffective communication skills in EnglishSmartphone with data plan for scheduling and documentation appPreferred Skills:Experience with dementia or Alzheimer careCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Certified Home Health Aide certificationExperience with electronic health records or care documentation appsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to assist with client transfers and mobilityManual dexterity for personal care tasksSchedule:Flexible scheduling available. Full-time and part-time positions with shifts ranging from 4-12 hours.
