nAssisting Hands Home Care is hiring dependable caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs for home care opportunities in the Jacksonville, St. Johns, Julington Creek, and surrounding areas.

nThis is a W-2 employee position. It is not a 1099 contractor role or registry position.

nWe are a locally owned home care agency operated by a husband and wife team. Our owners are actively involved and accessible, and our office team works to communicate clearly with caregivers.
nWe know that home care only works when caregivers are respected and supported. That is why we focus on strong communication, realistic scheduling, and long-term relationships with dependable caregivers.
nSchedule and Hours
nHome care schedules depend on client needs. Current opportunities may include:
nPart-time and full-time schedules
nWeekday shifts
nWeekend shifts
nDaytime and evening shifts
nSome overnight opportunities
nMinimum 4-hour shifts
nLonger 8-hour and 12-hour shifts when available
nOvertime opportunities when available
nWe work to keep caregivers reasonably close to home when possible, while matching based on skills, availability, client needs, and travel distance.
nTypical pay is $16 to $18 per hour for most cases. Higher rates may be available for select assignments based on client needs, schedule, location, and case complexity.

nWhat You Will Do
nYou will provide personal care and daily living support that helps clients remain safe and comfortable at home.
nResponsibilities may include:
nBathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
nTransfers and mobility support
nMeal preparation
nLight housekeeping related to the client
nCompanionship and conversation
nMedication reminders
nHelp with errands or appointments when included in the care plan
nReporting changes or concerns to the office
nOur clients include seniors, disabled adults, people recovering from illness or surgery, and individuals who need companionship or personal care at home.

nActive Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
nSuccessful Level II Background Screening
nRecent TB screening
nClassroom CPR certification

nReliable transportation to client homes
nStrong communication skills
nProfessional, dependable, and caring attitude
nComfort with pets preferred
