nBrightStar Care of Lansing, MI is looking for Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to join our home care team on a part time/per diem basis! The Home Care Nurses are responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and the standards of quality are adhered to. We are looking to add enthusiastic members to join our team who are described as “caring, compassionate, and cheerful”. We have everything from short client skilled visits to catastrophic care shifts up to 12 hours.

nResponsibilities
nCare for individual based on personalized Plan of Care Informs the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the client’s conditions and needs
nCounsel client and family through care process while updating family on a regular basis
nAssures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
nParticipates in agency performance improvement activities and continuously staying informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care
nRequirements
nCurrent unrestricted RN or LPN license in state for which care is being provided
nMinimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred.
nReliable car/auto insurance

nUnderstands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
nAdhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
