Home Caregiver / Personal Care Attendant - GarlandHarmony At Home Senior Care is currently adding a caregiver to our team for a recurring morning home care assignment in Garland near the Richardson area.The client receives care four mornings each week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.This schedule provides approximately 16 hours per week with this client, but caregivers are welcome to request additional assignments. We have multiple clients and schedules throughout our service area for employees interested in adding more hours.CompensationHarmony At Home Senior Care's client assignment rates generally range from $10.00–$15.00 per hour. Individual assignment rates are determined based on factors such as the specific client assignment, location, schedule, care needs, and caregiver availability.Our agency also frequently offers increased pay rates for urgent or difficult-to-fill shift coverage, commonly ranging from $16.00–$20.00 per hour.Increased rates apply only to qualifying shifts when specifically offered and are not guaranteed for all assignments or hours.Need More Weekly Hours?You can work this regular client schedule and request additional assignments.More schedules and hours with other clients are available upon request. Caregivers interested in building a larger weekly schedule can provide their complete availability to our Scheduling Team. Depending on current openings, additional assignments may include:Morning or afternoon careEvening schedulesOvernight assignmentsWeekday or weekend hoursRecurring weekly clientsPRN and pick-up opportunitiesUrgent coverage shiftsAdditional assignments are offered based on current client needs, caregiver availability, qualifications, location, and schedule compatibility.Working With Our ClientsHarmony At Home Senior Care provides non-medical in-home care and assistance. Caregiver duties are based on each client's individual plan of care and level of assistance needed.A typical shift may involve:Assisting with daily personal care routinesBathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistanceProviding companionship and supervisionMobility and transfer assistancePreparing meals and snacksProviding medication remindersLight housekeeping related to client careAssistance with approved errands or transportationHelping maintain a safe home environmentCompleting required documentationCommunicating changes or concerns to the officeCaregiver QualificationsWe are looking for caregivers who are dependable, professional, and comfortable providing care in a client's private residence.Applicants should:Have reliable personal transportationHave a valid driver's licenseBe able to reliably travel to the Garland/Richardson areaMaintain consistent and punctual attendanceFollow client care plans and agency policiesCommunicate professionally with clients, families, and staffComplete required onboarding and trainingBe comfortable working independently in a home care environmentPrevious caregiving experience is preferred but may come from a variety of backgrounds, including home care, senior care, personal care, assisted living, memory care, CNA, HHA, PCA, personal care attendant, or similar experience.
