Responsibilities may include:Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needsPreparing meals and helping with light housekeepingProviding companionship and meaningful conversationAssisting with walking, mobility, and everyday routinesEncouraging clients to remain active and engagedProviding reminders and general support throughout the dayFollowing individualized care plans and client instructionsCommunicating changes, concerns, or important updates to the officeAccurately documenting care and services providedYour role goes beyond completing a checklist. Successful caregivers are:Compassionate and dedicated to helping othersPatient, respectful, and understandingDependable and responsibleComfortable working one-on-one with clients in their homesAble to work independently while following an established care planFlexible and willing to travel between client locationsExperience At least 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred. Experience in any of the following is highly valued:Home carePrivate-duty careCaregivingCNAHHAOther professional caregiving settingsPrevious experience is valued but not required for the right candidate.Requirements Candidates must have:Reliable personal transportationValid driver's licenseCurrent auto insuranceCPR/First Aid certification is a plus.Our Service Area Our caregivers serve clients throughout the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, including:Schaumburg • Hoffman Estates • Palatine • Rolling Meadows • Elk Grove Village • Des Plaines • Park Ridge • Surrounding AreasPlease note: The location displayed with this position represents one of the communities we serve. It is not necessarily our office location and is not the only area where you may be assigned to work. Caregivers must be comfortable traveling to other communities within our service area based on client needs and available assignments.Commute Consideration: Our clients are located throughout the Northwest Suburbs, and caregivers are expected to travel to client locations.
