Looking for Caregiving Work That Fits Your Schedule?Senior Helpers Southern Maryland is growing, and we're looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers to join our team.If you have caregiving experience and are looking for flexible scheduling, consistent opportunities, and a local team that supports you, we'd love to connect.We have caregiving opportunities throughout Southern Maryland for professionals who are passionate about helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.What You'll Be DoingDepending on the client's needs, your responsibilities may include:Providing companionship and conversationAssisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal careHelping with mobility and transfersPreparing meals and assisting with nutritionProviding medication remindersPerforming light housekeepingAssisting with errands and transportation when applicableSupporting clients with their daily routinesObserving and reporting changes in client conditionProviding dependable, respectful, one-on-one careWe Want to Hear From You If You:• Have at least 1 year of caregiving experience• Are dependable and take your schedule seriously• Enjoy working with seniors• Are patient, compassionate, and respectful• Can communicate effectively with clients, families, and our office team• Are comfortable providing care independently in a client's homeExperience with personal care, dementia care, Parkinson's care, mobility assistance, transfers, or other specialized client needs is a plus.Flexible OpportunitiesWe understand that caregivers have different schedules. Opportunities may include:Day shiftsEvening shiftsWeekend shiftsOvernight carePRN / fill-in opportunitiesHours typically range from 12–40 hours per week, depending on your availability and current client needs.Pay & Benefits• $16.00–$19.00/hour based on experience and assignment• $15.00/hour training payOvertime opportunitiesMileage reimbursementPaid training and ongoing developmentReferral and performance bonusesMaryland Saves Retirement ProgramLifeMart Discount ProgramSupport from a responsive local office teamRequirements• At least 1 year of caregiving experience• Valid driver's licenseCurrent auto insuranceReliable transportationNegative TB test and Basic Health ScreeningAuthorization to work in the U.S.Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening and onboardingServing Southern MarylandWe have opportunities in and around:Waldorf, La Plata, Clinton, Ft.
