Home Health Aide (HHA) – Weekend On-Call OpportunityCaregiving is more than a job; it's a calling. At National Church Residences, we support our Home Health Aides the same way they support our seniors: with respect, flexibility, and heart.Our Home Health team in Central Ohio is looking for dedicated Home Health Aides interested in weekend on-call opportunities while continuing to deliver exceptional care to the seniors we serve.Why HHAs Choose UsFlexible schedulingMileage reimbursementSupportive leadership teamMeaningful work serving seniors in their homesStable organization with opportunities for growthWhat You'll DoAs a Home Health Aide, you will:Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)Provide companionship and emotional supportPrepare meals and assist with feedingPerform light housekeeping and laundryMonitor and report changes in client conditionComplete required documentationPromote a safe and comfortable home environmentWeekend On-Call ResponsibilitiesDuring assigned weekend on-call rotations (Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM), you will:Pick up the on-call phone and support materials before the start of your coverage periodContact scheduled caregivers to confirm weekend assignments and readiness for visitsServe as the primary point of contact for after-hours staffing needsRespond to caregiver call-offs and coordinate replacement coverageUtilize available staffing resources to fill open visits and maintain continuity of carePartner with the Manager on Duty for support, guidance, and escalation of urgent concernsRemain accessible throughout the on-call period, including evenings and overnight hoursReturn all on-call equipment and materials to the office at the conclusion of your assigned rotationProvide direct client coverage when necessary to ensure services are not interruptedWhat We're Looking ForCertified or non-certified HHAs welcomeDependable, organized, and responsiveStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in urgent situationsReliable transportation and willingness to travelAvailability to remain accessible throughout assigned weekend on-call hoursHigh school diploma or GEDJoin a team dedicated to helping seniors live independently and safely at home.Apply today!All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, military status, disability, genetic information and/or any other characteristics protected by applicable law.
