That's PACE.Every day, you'll help older adults remain safe in their own homes while maintaining their independence and dignity.Unlike traditional home care, you'll care for the same participants over time. You'll become part of their care team and build meaningful relationships instead of rushing from client to client.Hiring all shiftsConsistent hoursStable caseload1st, 2nd, Full-time, Part-time, Evening, and Weekend schedules at our Akron location!We're looking for someone who:• Has a current HHA, STNA, or CNA certification• Enjoys working with older adults• Has reliable transportation• Wants to make a difference every dayPay Information• If you have an HHA certification or CNA certification: $16.50/hour with a $1.00 shift differential for weekends!• If you have an STNA certification: $17.00/hour with a $1.00 shift differential for weekends!Essential Job Functions:1. Responsible for the day-to-day personal care and safety of the participant.2. Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, toileting, bathing, ambulation, feeding, dressing, and participating in recreational activities; encourages independence as appropriate.3. Responsible for light housekeeping, laundry, and assisting with meal preparation.4. Anticipates needs to carry through activities in an organized, efficient manner; prepares all supplies and work area before beginning activities.5. May participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as requested; communicates relevant participant information to supervisor.6. Completes required documentation according to organizational guidelines and time frames legibly and completely.7. Reports participant status changes to the supervisor and other staff as relevant.8. Validates competency in basic skills and personal care services annually and as otherwise required.9. Completes ongoing training program requirements per organizational policy.10. Follow organizational policy for call-offs and completing timesheets.11. Assists with errands, which may include grocery shopping or replenishing household goods.12. Understands and utilizes principles of infection control, including handwashing, bag procedures, and care of an infectious patient.13. Innovative in providing services with the available resources.14. Attend departmental meetings as scheduled.
