Does client's laundry and prepares meals. Maintains safe environment through use of bed rails, safety devices and proper placement of equipment.Performs nursing assistant duties, to include foley catheter care, enema, dressing changes and decubitus care, as instructed under the direction of a licensed professional nurse.Listens actively and encourages family members to verbalize feelings and concerns.Accurately records home health aide notes in medical records system.Requirements:CNA License in MarylandHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredSuccessful completion of nursing assistant or Red Cross training course required; certification preferred.Minimum one-year experience in long-term care, acute care or home care.Must have valid driver's license, current insurance and own transportation.Min USD $17.05/Hr.Max USD $25.30/Hr.Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
