The Home Health Aide position comes with the following benefits:Flexible schedulingBonuses for referralsPPE and safety training are provided401k Retirement plan with an employer match!Caregiver Recognition & Rewards ProgramDirect DepositPaid Sick TimeHealth Benefits for you and your familyEmployee discount programFree financial fitness programWe always treat you with respectFamily-owned agency since 2002Ongoing TrainingAnnual party to mingle with your co-workers (pending due to COVID-19)The Home Health Aide responsibilities and duties: Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):Personal hygiene (assisting with bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)Ambulation/TransfersEatingDressing/ShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany the patient on errands or medical appointments.Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroomsThe Home Health Aide performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):Medication remindersAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercisesMeasuring and preparing special dietsUnderstanding dementia careIncontinence careQualifications and Skills for Home Health Aide:High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.Two years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) is preferredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.Possess a valid driver's license and an insured automobileA current CHHA license from the New Jersey Board of NursingMust be at least 18 years of ageCompensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourRight at Home's mission is simple...to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
