Job description
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a part-time or per diem opportunity to complete home health visits to clients located throughout Atlantic County. As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

n nA Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:
nnnHave at least one year of work experience
n
nnMust be listed on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
n
nnDemonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
n
nnPass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
n
nnHave a criminal background check completed
n
nnMeet all state requirements
n

n nJob Responsibilities for HHA - Home Health Aides :
nnnActivities of daily living
n
nnLight housekeeping
n
nnBathing
n
nnGrooming
n
nnToileting
n
nnNail care
n
nnRange of motion / exercises
n
nnTransfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
n
nnOral feeding
n
nnVital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
n
nnHome Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
n
nnAssisting with ambulation
n
nnMedication assistance
n
n nAdditional Information:
nBase Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:
n$24.00 - $27.00 per point
