Certified Homemaker-Home Health AidesMultiple positions available! Travel between a few clients each day or just see 1 or 2!First in Home Care, Interim HealthCare is expanding into Mercer County! We are looking for Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides to provide in-home care to residents of Mercer County.Part-time, flexible hours!Must have NJ CHHA certification and reliable transportation. Criminal history and background check will be completed upon hire.Nursing students welcome! We will guide you through the certification process.CHHAs provide companion activities, homemaking, personal care, transport to appointments, and assistance with daily activities, such as grocery shopping.Interim HealthCare offers:Dementia care and Home Life Enrichment training programsWeekly direct depositPPE suppliesFREE American Heart Association CPR renewalSupportive, encouraging and appreciative environmentCHHAs provide assistance with:exercise, activity and positioning, range of motion, transferring, ambulation and assistive devicespersonal hygiene (nail and skin care, bathing, shampooing, etc.) and positioningvital signspost-stroke and dementia carelight house-keeping, laundry and assistance with meal preparationtransportation to appointmentsadherence to patient plan of careMinimum Education & Experience Requirements :NJ CHHA certification requiredNursing student (able to take NJ CHHA exam)Basic Life Support (CPR)Reliable vehicleAble to pass criminal history and drug screeningAuthorized to work in the United StatesProvide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends)Able to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment.
