Annually, we receive the Employer of Choice Award by Home Care Pulse, and a Caring Star Top Rating.Responsibilities and Duties:Assisting with ADLs and IADLsAmbulationBathingPersonal hygieneContinence / toiletingDressing / shavingEating / feedingTransferringPrepares meals and snacks according to instructions and special dietsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointmentsPerforms housekeeping activities including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroomPerforms client-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse includes, but are not limited to:Medication remindersAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercisesMeasuring and preparing special dietsUnderstanding dementia careIncontinence careQualifications and Skills:HHA / PCA certificationHigh school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferredExperience as a caregiver preferred, but not required; experience can be in personal homes or facilitiesThe ability to read, write, speak and understand English is requiredPossess a valid driver's license and insured automobile is a plus but not requiredRight at Home's mission is simple... to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
