Home Health Aide (HHA)Want more flexibility in your caregiving career?Abernathy Home Care is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for current client needs. We offer flexible scheduling, full-time and part-time opportunities, paid travel time between clients, and the chance to provide meaningful one-on-one care in a client's home.Whether you're looking for a few shifts each week or want to build a more consistent schedule, we'll work with your availability and current client needs to find opportunities that may be a good fit.What You'll DoAs an HHA with Abernathy Home Care, you'll provide individualized care and support that helps seniors and adults continue living safely and comfortably at home.Responsibilities may include:Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygieneHelping with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily livingPreparing mealsProviding medication remindersAssisting with light housekeeping and household tasksProviding companionship and conversationDriving or accompanying clients to appointments and errandsSupporting individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementiaObserving and reporting changes in a client's conditionFollowing individualized care plansHelping clients maintain their comfort, safety, and independenceWhat You NeedCurrent Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) CertificationCurrent TB documentationValid driver's licenseReliable vehicle with current auto insuranceAuthorization to work in the United StatesStrong communication skillsDependable and professional attitudeCompassionate approach to working with seniors and adults who need supportAble to work a minimum of 20 hours/weekWhat We Offer$19–$21 per hourFull-time and part-time opportunitiesFlexible schedulingImmediate client needsPaid orientationPaid continuing educationPaid travel time between clientsMileage reimbursement between clientsEarned sick timeEmployee referral bonus programEmployee discount programTapcheck – early access to earned wagesOptional Aflac supplemental insurance plansSupportive office, scheduling, and nursing teamsFlexible Work.
