nnnMust hold valid HHA Certificate or current CNA license
n
nnMust have a valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
n
nn18 years of age or older with High school degree/GED
n
nnAcceptable Motor Vehicle Record
n
nnMust be able to read, write, and speak English
n
n nJoin Aveanna Healthcare as Home Health Aide (HHA). You will provide personal care, selected treatment procedures, minimal household tasks and occasional meal preparation under the advisory of a Registered Nurse for individuals with special needs in their homes.
nEssential Job Functions
nnnPerform personal care tasks including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks.
n
nnPerform home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning
n
nnPlan meals, shop for groceries, prepare and serve meals, and clean up
n
nnCommunicate verbally with clients, client family members, and Recover Health staff in a professional manner
n
nnEnsure client safety while maintaining a safe environment
n
nnRemind and assist clients with self-administration of medications (with proper training)
n
nnEncourage self-help activities
n
nnReport and Document services provided and changes in client's condition or family situation to the office
n
nnMaintain clinical record documentation according to Recover Health policy and procedures as well as state and federal regulations
n
n nOther Qualifications
nnnCurrent CPR certification (with hands-on component) or able to obtain one
n
nnCurrent TB test
n
n nPreferred:
nnMinimum of one-year Home Health Care experience or LTC experience a plus
