Preferred Companion HomecarePreferred Companion Homecare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality non-medical care to clients in their homes throughout Northern New Jersey.We are looking for caregivers who take pride in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.Position: Home Health Aide (HHA)Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem Location: Northern New Jersey Schedule: Flexible shifts available, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight shiftsResponsibilitiesAssist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)Personal care and hygiene assistanceBathing, dressing, and groomingToileting and incontinence careMeal preparation and light housekeepingMedication reminders, as permittedAssist with ambulation and transfersProvide companionship and supervisionAccompany clients to appointments or errands when neededObserve and report changes in the client's conditionFollow the client's care plan and agency policiesMaintain a safe, respectful, and clean environmentQualificationsValid New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) certificationPrevious homecare experience preferredReliable transportation is a plusAbility to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care teamDependable, punctual, and professionalAbility to work independently in a client's homeMust be able to pass required background and employment screeningsWhat We OfferFlexible schedulingFull-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunitiesOpportunities for additional hoursSupportive office staffA variety of client assignmentsCompetitive pay based on experience, assignment, and scheduleWeekly Direct depositWhy Work With Preferred Companion Homecare?We believe caregivers deserve to be treated with respect and supported by an agency that values their work.
