nIdeal Home Care Services, a leading provider of in-home care services, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our dynamic team! As a HHA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients who may be recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or dealing with physical challenges.
nAbout the Role:
nAs a HHA, your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your duties will include:
nnnAssisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
n
nnAdministering medications and performing wound care as needed
n
nnAssisting with meal preparation and nutrition management
n
nnProviding companionship and emotional support to our clients
n
nnMaintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to our team
n
n nResponsibilities:
nnnProvide high-quality care and assistance to clients in their homes
n
nnDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers
n
nnCollaborate with our interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans
n
nnFollow all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations
n
nnMaintain accurate records and reports, and communicate effectively with our team
n
n nRequirements:
nnnHome Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state of New York
n
nnHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
n
nn1+ year of experience working as a HHA or in a related field; experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities a plus
n
