Home Health Aide (HHA)Since 2012, Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy. As a fast-growing, leading provider, we proudly serve patients across Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) in the Kirbyville, MO and surrounding areas area to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with a physician established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient's residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager. Schedule: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays Preferred 12-hour shifts. Comfortable working in a smoking environment.ResponsibilitiesExecutes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record.Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies.Performs patient assessments, coordination of care.Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient's home.Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one.Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients.Light housekeepingAssistance preparing beverages and daily comfort itemsCompanion care and supervision during outdoor activitiesGeneral support with activities of daily livingPerforms other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient's needs.RequirementsCurrent CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB TestPrefer experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred.Good interpersonal skills.Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients.Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.$17 - $19 an hourTo provide the exceptional care our patients deserve, we rely on a team of passionate, dedicated professionals.
