Now Hiring: Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy since 2012. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, one-on-one care to a patient in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with consistent hours available. The caregiver will provide care in accordance with the physician-established plan of care and help support the patient's comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being.
Position Details
Location: Los Ojos, NM
Position: Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Pay: $17–$19 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week
Setting: Patient's private residence
Care: One-on-one, in-home patient care
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to the patient in their home.
Assist the patient with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care needs.
Assist with mobility, positioning, transfers, and other care needs as outlined in the plan of care.
Provide companionship and help create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration as needed.
Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition and, as directed by the plan of care, monitor vital signs such as temperature and respiration.
Provide medication reminders in accordance with the care plan and applicable scope of practice.
Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation of services provided.
Communicate professionally with the patient's family and other authorized individuals regarding the patient's care and well-being.
Follow the physician-established plan of care and all applicable policies and procedures.
Treat every patient with dignity, respect, compassion, and professionalism.
