Home Health Aide (HHA) And/Or Personal Care Assistant (PCA)We are immediately hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a female client with dementia in East Meadow. Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays 7a-7p. Responsibilities include engagement, companionship, shower assistance, meal prep and safety. Must have experience with taking care of patients with dementia. Weekly pay.Must Haves:High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificateSix months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (in homes or facilities) and current certification with New York State.Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the jobMeets the requirements for employees providing direct patient careRead, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobHave a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportationPlease reply to this ad or call the office at to apply!
