Job description
Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
nMaxim Healthcare is hiring for a Personal Care Assistant to provide support services to assist clients with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs.

n nResponsibilities:
nnnProvides services to persons who need help with day-to-day activities
n
nnProvides health care tasks, personal hygiene services, and other related support services essential to the client's health
n
nnAssists with transfers and ambulation
n
nnPerforms incidental household services that are an integral part of a personal care plan
n
nnProvides companionship by reading, listening and talking with client
n
nnAssists client in the development of independent skills through self-care activities such as toileting, clothing routines and personal hygiene
n
nnAppropriately reports changes in client status or as directed by care plan
n
nnPerforms other duties as assigned/necessary
n
n nRequirements:
nnnState licensure or certification as required by state and/or program
n
nnOne (1) year relevant experience preferred
n
nnCurrent BLS Card
n
nnCurrent PPD or Chest X-Ray
n
nnKnowledge of child growth and development
n
nnAbility to coordinate and facilitate services between the home, school, local health agency, and other community resources
n
nnAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
n
nnComputer proficiency required
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
n
