nMaxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Paso Robles, CA to provide personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient's needs.

n nResponsibilities:

nnnResponsible for assisting patient with and per plan of care, the following;

n

nnBaths, Oral hygiene, Dressing and undressing, Toileting activities, feeding, etc

n

nnTaking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)

n

nnSafe transfer and ambulation techniques

n

nnExercise according to the plan of care

n

nnPerforming range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)

n

nnPatient's laundry

n

nnMeeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.)

n

nnObservation and teaching of home safety practices

n

nnRecognition of an emergency situation and knowledge of emergency management procedures

n

nnMust follow patients plan of care and complete all tasks assigned

n

nnCommunicates in a constant, clear, and effective way with the client, family/caregiver and office

n

nnObserves and documents patient condition and reports any changes, to the assigned nurse supervisor

n

n nRequirements:

nnnMeets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable

n

nnAbility to read, follow written instructions and document care given

n

nnPossess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation

n

nnPPD or chest x-ray if applicable

n

nnSuccessful completion of Maxim screening examinations

n

nnParticipation and completion of Maxim's competency program

n

nnMust meet all federal, state, and local requirements
