Home Health Aide (Part-Time)Local Agency: BrightStar Care of IndianapolisLocation: Carmel, INPosition Type: Part-TimeSchedule: 4 to 5 hours per day (approximately 20 to 25 hours per week)Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide to provide in-home care and support for an individual in a private residence. This part-time position requires approximately 4 to 5 hours each day and is ideal for a caregiver who is patient, attentive, and committed to helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life.ResponsibilitiesAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs)Provide personal care assistance, including grooming, dressing, and hygienePrepare light meals and snacksPerform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and general tidyingProvide companionship and emotional supportAssist with mobility and safety monitoringProvide medication remindersAccompany client to appointments or errands as neededObserve and report any changes in the client's condition or well-beingMaintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environmentRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredMinimum of one year of caregiving, home health, CNA, or related experience preferredCurrent CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent 2-Step TB Test (or TB screening documentation as required by state regulations) or a recent chest X-ray with clearance documentationCurrent physical examination completed within the last six (6) monthsAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and maintain confidentialityReliable, compassionate, and professional demeanorIf you are a caring and dependable professional who meets the certification and health screening requirements and enjoys helping others remain safe and comfortable in their homes, we encourage you to apply today.Expected Hours: 20 to 25 hours per weekRequired DocumentationCPR/BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross2-Step TB Test (or approved TB screening documentation) or chest X-ray resultsPhysical examination dated within the last six monthsValid government-issued photo IDBackground check authorization
