nBayCare is currently in search of our newest Home Health Aide - Private Duty who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

nnnFacility: BayCare Health System, Private Duty

nnLocation: Pinellas County
n
nnStatus: Full Time, hourly
n
nnShift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
n
nnWeekend Work: Every 3rd weekend
n
nnOn Call: No

n nHome Health Aide key responsibilities:
nnnAs part of the patient care team, works under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patients
n
nnFollows the patient's plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professional
n
nnMaintains an open communication process with the patient, representative (if any), caregivers, and family
n
nnDemonstrates competency with assigned tasks
n
nnComplies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
n
nnReports changes in the patient's condition
n
nnHonors patient rights
n
n nRequired Certifications and Licensures:
nnnCNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA certification from accredited 75-hour program
n
nnDriver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)
n
nnBLS (Basic Life Support)
n
n nEducation:
nnPreferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
n nExperience:
nnPreferred 1 year Home Care
n nThis position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). More information can be found at .
