Home Health Aide- South West San AntonioSA Nurses Home Health is rapidly expanding, and we are hiring certified nursing assistants effective immediately. We work with patients of all ages and backgrounds who require daily care in their homes. We hire the most compassionate and thoughtful talent in the field. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, so time management skills and the ability to work independently are essential. However, it is important to provide each patient with the time and attention necessary to meet his or her needs. Join our Team, join our family; together we can inspire to provide the best care to our community.Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:Enables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services and teaching families.Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output and exercise.Assists patients by providing personal services, such as dressing, bathing and grooming.Helps patients care for themselves by teaching the use of a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.Helps family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient.Home Health Aide Qualifications/Skills:Creating a safe, effective environmentHealth promotion and maintenanceNursing skillsHealth care administrationPatient servicesDependabilityVerbal communicationListeningTrainingEmotional controlEducation, Experience and Licensing Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDLicensed CNACOVID-19 vaccination preferredMinimum 2 year+ professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health illnesses or challenging behaviors preferredCPR2 step TB Test
