Job description
In-Home Caregiver At St. Paul Elder ServicesEnhance our St. Paul at Home Team by making regularly scheduled visits to clients who are still residing in their homes or in assisted living facilities.Help clients with personal hygiene and provide ADL support as well as other needs identified on the client care card.Help clients with ambulation, transferring, positioning, and range of motion.Provide verbal reminders to clients for self-administration of medications.Perform housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, changing linen, washing dishes, emptying trash receptacles, pet care, etc.Prepare light meals and/or snacks.Provide companionship care to clients such as visiting, reading, and/or engaging in other favorite pastimes.Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to the Community Services Coordinator.Provide bathing services to Club Gabriel members and community clients.Develop and maintain positive rapport with team members, clients, and their families.You have a caring & compassionate attitude for others.You are creative and enjoy engaging with people.You have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.You are able to work independently with limited supervision.Outgoing and lively personality; get to know the participants/members, encourage them to engage in active participation and socialization.Ability to multitask.Experience working with seniors in elderly care, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, skilled nursing facility, and/or rehabilitation environment is a plus.Weekly hours available.Flexible hours with no nights or weekends.Non-profit and Faith-Based Organization.Company-wide appreciation days, annual reviews, and subsequent raise of wages, onsite therapy dog, onsite spiritual care services, onsite 24-hour access gym, and much more!St. Paul Elder Services is proud to be Best of The Valley!We are as dedicated to you as you are to our residents and tenants.We believe in putting people first.We offer a diverse workplace with on-the-job training and growth opportunities for everyone.Our vibrant communities are a fun place to work!We embrace a genuine commitment to STARS – our core values of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation, and Success.St. Paul Elder Services is proud to operate state-of-the-art senior living communities offering assisted living residences and our innovative Dementia Care neighborhoods.
