Job description
MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.
nHome Health Aide (HHA) – In-Home Care
nREQUIRED TO APPLY: Applicants must have a full, valid Massachusetts driver’s license held for at least 12 months , a reliable personal vehicle , and a valid HHA or CNA certificate .
nLocation: Wareham & Surrounding Areas
nWage: $19.00/hour + Mileage Reimbursement
nSchedule: Flexible Hours | Based on Availability
nThis position starts on a per diem (as-needed) basis , with the opportunity to gradually build your schedule as you pick up additional clients.
nJoin our team as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and provide meaningful, one-on-one care to individuals in their homes while supporting their independence, well-being, and quality of life.
nQualifications
nnnValid and current HHA or CNA certificate
n
nnFull, valid Massachusetts driver’s license held for at least 12 months (permits and JOLs do not qualify)
n
nnPersonal reliable vehicle for traveling to individuals’ homes
n
nnMust be at least 18 years old
n
nnHigh school diploma or equivalent
n
nnMust pass required background checks, physical exam, and TB screening
n
nnComfortable using a mobile device for documentation
n
nnCaregiving experience preferred
n
nnCompassionate, dependable, and a strong communicator
n
n nDon’t have an HHA/CNA certification? Other qualifying certifications are welcome and may be eligible for the following pay rates:
nnnHomemaker (HM): $18.00/hour
n
nnPersonal Care (PC): $18.00/hour
n
nnPersonal Care/Homemaker (PCHM): $18.50/hour
n

nnnProvide in-home ADL and personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and transfers

nnAssist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping

nnMonitor health needs, document services, and maintain a safe, supportive home environment
