Home health allows Physical Therapists to build meaningful relationships with patients while having greater control over their workday.
As a Home Health PT , you will: Evaluate patients in their homes
Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training
Address strength, balance, gait, mobility, and safety needs
Educate patients and caregivers
Help patients maximize independence and quality of life
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
Complete required clinical documentation using streamlined technology

Physical Therapist Qualifications Active, unencumbered Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
Physical Therapy (DPT or masters-level PT) degree from an accredited program
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Current auto insurance
Ability to provide physical therapy services independently in patients' homes
Home Health Experience Preferred - Not Required
Physical Therapists with experience in home health, home care, outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, hospital, orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, or acute care settings are encouraged to apply.
